| ARTIST |
Kim Weiland
Born 1953- Nuremberg, Germany
|
| STYLE |
Realism - Traditional realism with American
Impressionist influences.
|
| PHILOSOPHY |
Painting is a lifestyle and a search for perfection. An artist
can never be content with what has been created but must constantly
pursue this perfection on the canvas at hand. Great paintings seduce
the mind through the eye with a balance of color and texture.
"I paint because I must, I do not remember
it ever being a conscious decision. It is just something that I
do and all of my compromises begin there." Kim Weiland

in oil on canvas.
